A discussion on how these elevating women have expanded their circle of excellence through collaboration. They know how to collaborate and overcome the barriers, like a pandemic, that prevent them from gaining access to capital and business opportunities. Listen, learn and engage in a dialogue on how and when they decided to pivot and shift their businesses. They have the drive to survive and thrive.
W.E.W. is expanding the discussion to highlight the inequities of multicultural women within the LGBTQ community. How can multicultural women/women of color, do more to build on our powerful network of women who are entrepreneurs and executives? How can the men in this community be more inclusive? How do we leverage the barriers and differences shared, to allow us to build a bridge with these successful and powerful women executives and entrepreneurs? We will and must connect more!
We must understand and learn how the impact of communication has on our company. How do and should we develop a personal and business brand that we can pitch to others? There are different media platform to highlight your values as well as your product and services. What are the different ways we communicate and brand with multicultural/women of color executives and entrepreneurs?
This is a discussion with experts on how to protect your mental and physical health during this pandemic. How is it impacting everyone in your household and business and what precautionary steps you can take? Specifically, how is this pandemic impacting the Brown and Black communities globally? We need courage to make decisions on what is best for our family and business community when it involves return to work and school. There will be discussions on a healthy balance to maintain both physical and mental health.
W.E.W. will continue to rally around young adults as our future, and how we as a community need to elevate them more. The presenters cultivate positive behaviors around the other four pillars. This conference will illustrate women and men who model elevating our future executives and entrepreneurs. You will hear from high achievers, like-minded individuals who know how to advise and counsel tomorrow’s thought leaders. They will share what steps they must take to achieve their professional goals.

Betty J. Hines is a Strategic Business Consultant who works primarily with CEOs and their Executive Management Teams in both the public and private sectors. However, many know her as a “Chief Collaborator,” “Business Connector,” “Women Business Advocate”, and founder of Women Elevating Women ( W.E.W.)
Currently, she offers consultation with women entrepreneurs who are not start up operations and want to scale their businesses to the next level. These entrepreneurs want to be part of the million-dollar club. Betty has a proven track record with over 14 years facilitating roundtable discussions with women presidents, CEO’s, and managing directors of privately held multi-million-dollar business. Her current group of women entrepreneurs have aggregate gross revenues over $100 Million dollars.
Betty mission is to elevate women business owners and executives. Since 2010, the Women of Color and Achievement Awards has celebrated over 125 women who’s businesses had gross revenues over $1Million, in 22 cities across the country, including London, Great Britain. In the excitement of honoring these women, she had an epiphany that there needed to be a platform bringing multicultural women executives and entrepreneurs together. Tiana Clubb began her career as a Professional Dancer, signed to Bloc Agency while studying Ballet at Marymount Manhattan College. She made the decision to leave school and pursue her dreams as a performer and fashion stylist, dancing for local artists such as Suzanne Christine as the opening act for Raheem Devaughn’s The Love Land Tour. During her stretch as a dancer, she was the co-founder of Charmed, a jewelry design boutique firm, which was the pillar for her youth mentoring program in partnership with the Creative and Performing Arts High School in Philadelphia, Charmed Girls Rock.
Through this program she mentored high school girls seeking to continue their education in the arts, Tiana leveraged her next role as CFO of 3E Consulting to advance data-driven solutions that increased productivity while reducing workplace hazards. Tiana’s innovative approach to identifying process improvements and generating new client opportunities garnered attention from senior management, eventually leading to a new career trajectory in Business Development, advocating for supplier diversity in the corporate and government space. Beyond the office, Tiana displays a commitment to diversity and inclusion, entrepreneurship, and the arts through her civic engagement. She is an active member of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.

Ms. Rodrigues is CEO of AllBy. She graduated in Philosophy, with a Master’s in Marketing and a specialization in Strategy and Management of Large Accounts, has a strong experience in Marketing and Management and developed her consulting skills, expanding her ability to achieve results. She worked for 12 years in the pharmaceutical sector where she acquired and consolidated her skills.
In 2013, she founded ThinkStrategic. which covers four business areas and has grown from 3 to 20 people in less than 4 years. Today, she leads AllBy, as executive director. AllBy was launched in the market in May 2017, consolidating the growth and internationalization process of the company.
In 2018, she was in Miami (USA), and received an award given by the Enterprising Women magazine, in the category “Up to $ 1 million in annual revenue”. This award is considered one of the most prestigious recognition programs for women entrepreneurs who stand out for the rapid growth of their businesses, for their leadership in key organizations in support of female entrepreneurship or as mentors in their communities.
Education, Woman Empowerment and Mentoring are themes that she loves and where actively participates pro bono, namely in Junior Achievement and Professional Women’s Network Lisbon. Adeshola Helen Onadipe is a trained Acountant who hails from Ogun state in Nigeria. She finished both her primary and secondary school education from her homeland. She moved to Lagos- state Nigeria in 1995 when she finished her secondary school and then began her studies in YABA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY in Accounting Department. She was working at the same time as a Secretary to a law firm in Western House, Broad Street in Lagos, Nigeria. She then finished her OND in YABATECH and later went to Lagos State University, LASU to get her degree in B.SC Accounting.
She has worked as an AUDITOR (At Sweet Sensation & Confectionery), BANKER (Oceanic bank then, now Eco Bank and FIRST CITY MONUMENT BANK). But presently, she’s a serialpreneur and the C.E.O of Sholskoncept Event Management Company, The Executive Publisher of Ladiesinbusiness Magazine, The Managing Director of Luxuryflats Apartment and also Founder for Business Innovation Academy. The Magazine, Ladies In Business is with a difference. The magazine also creates necessary avenues and platforms for them to be SEEN, HEARD and RECOGNIZED. Sandra Arnette is an accredited public relations professional with 30 years of experience in crisis communications, media messaging and spokesperson training. She has managed media relations for Fortune 50 companies – including Comcast and Verizon – where she served as spokesperson and advisor to corporate officials; developed and implemented strategic communications plans and campaigns; managed crisis situations; planned events; and promoted product launches and community impact initiatives. Sandra has done similar work for government agencies and area nonprofits. At the Maryland Transit Administration, she managed broadcast operations, media relations, social media engagement and customer relations. She also hosted Commuter Connections, a monthly TV show available to half a million homes in Maryland that promoted public transit programs and projects throughout the Baltimore-Washington region. In 2019, Sandra launched Arnette Media Strategies, LLC, a boutique consulting firm – helping clients tell their stories and gain the visibility they deserve through media placements. Currently, Sandra serves on the board of the Baltimore Public Relations Council and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, Baltimore Association of Black Journalists and Consortium of Information and Telecommunications Executives. She is also president of the New Vision Pioneers-Maryland Chapter – a network of volunteers with a long history of helping others by Answering the Call of Those in Need.

Travis Chen is a global citizen, dedicated adventurist and advocate for young voices. He is a current Senior at the University of Southern California (USC), studying International Relations & Global Business. Travis most recently was a Global Accounts Intern for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and also served as Legislative Intern for the 116th Congress in Washington D.C. for the Office of United States Senator Dianne Feinstein. Right now, he serves as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of a mental health tech startup, SoundMind, focusing on helping COVID-19 frontline workers, natural disaster victims, Military personnel, and college students. Since he was young, Travis Chen has admired influential women in his life — beginning with his Mother, who showed him what it means to build resiliency in the toughest of times; his Grandmother, who fought against gender discrimination in the workplace to overcome challenges; his Aunts, who have shown him that hard work, persistence and grit are the most important characteristics that one must have; and his sisters, who show him unconditional love every single day.
Dr. Adrienne Starks founded STREAM Innovations, Inc., which is an up and coming 501 (c) (3) designated non-profit in Birmingham, AL. Under her leadership, their mission has been committed to helping students develop and explore their passion in Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STREAM) by providing exposure, experiences, and engagement with high expectations for their success. STREAM Innovations promotes collaborative innovation to engage students in their desired STREAM discipline(s) and innovate solutions to real world problems in their communities. Dr. Starks received a BS in Biology from Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University (AAMU) and a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). Her biomedical training at the National Institutes of Health, the nation’s most prestigious federal biomedical research agency, lacked significant representation of underrepresented minorities and women. This reality has become the catalyst for her desire to promote scientific exploration and innovation for students within her hometown in Alabama to successfully pursue STEM careers. Her charge for STREAM Innovations is to bring programs to communities that lack adequate STREAM access and/or have a majority of students that are underrepresented in STREAM fields. Because of her commitment to support community infrastructure, STREAM Innovations has partnered with local K-8 schools, libraries, recreation centers, and universities to develop programs that support and extend existing community STEM based effort. In 2019, Dr. Starks was selected as one of the 125 AAAS IF/THEN Ambassadors, which is a national initiative to increase in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) exposure for girls by celebrating women STEM as role models of success.
Karen Tracey is known and respected across a number of commercial sectors where her expertise and success in Learning and Development and Operational roles resulted in her setting up her own business based in Lichfield, Staffordshire in the UK in 2010, Dunelm Business Consultants Ltd. Starting with a career in the Royal Air Force where she saw active service in 1990, Karen then followed this with a successful 20 years in the Corporate world not only in the Learning and Development arena but diversified as a director of many organisational leadership change programmes. These always demanded the effective development, engagement and leading of people. This included successes in her final corporate role as an Operations Director in a national training company. It is here she developed her skill and ability as an influencer and developer of senior leaders and leadership teams where she came to be known and accepted as a focussed and outstanding deliverer of the development of leadership capability. Now within one of her own businesses, Dunelm Business Consultants, Karen offers a diverse coaching, leadership training and development offering including a Women’s programme as well as being an accredited Coach on programmes specifically designed to develop high growth businesses. Karen’s specialist leadership development offering is designed specifically for CEOs, Directors and senior Executives who are focussed on developing their personal leadership brand and capability. Karen’s second business is Experts 4 Entrepreneurs, a coaching and mentoring practice for Entrepreneurs focusing on a four pillared approach based on Finance, Sales, Leadership and Business Improvement offering a number of programmes to entrepreneurs and businesses to help them grow and develop. Tiera Craig, a Detroit native, is an experienced LGBT activist, advocate, and change agent with a passion for LGBT veterans. She is a United States Army Disabled Combat Veteran who currently works at the U.S. second largest agency, the Department of Veterans Affairs, committed to providing service and care to her fellow veterans.
For more than 15 years, Tiera has volunteered with several organizations serving on boards and committees including: Equality Michigan, Motor City Pride, National Black Justice Coalition, Harlem Pride, LOCS Network, and The Metro DC LGBT Center where she currently serves as the board treasurer. Tiera is also a founding member of The Garden Collective. She also is a member of the premier Lesbian sorority, Kappa Xi Omega Sorority, Inc. currently serving as the National Vice President.
Tiera is a graduate of Detroit Public Schools and Davenport University where she majored in Business Management. Tiera is also a seasoned Federal Acquisition and Project Management Professional, and a LEAN/Six Sigma Green Belt.

Elizabeth Davis is the Founder/President of Authentic Impact, where she helps entrepreneurs, business owners, and leadership teams to break through barriers and establish a strong foundation for robust growth. She is adamant that women can help each other to thrive. She is on the advisory board of Women@Austin, and member of the Austin LGBT Chamber. She co-founded the Austin Executive Women’s Forum in the early 2000s and experienced the power of innovative network models such as a woman’s poker group that drank wine, discussed business and created connections for life.
Staci Redmon is Strategy and Management Services (SAMS) Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Her energetic leadership, passion, and vision has propelled SAMS to the transformation and digital solutions provider it is today; helping organizations improve operations and enhance the customer experience by utilizing advanced technology to securely integrate, and fully optimize their systems, data, and devices. She advocates passionately for veterans and family members of veterans. Staci’s recognition as a successful veteran business owner has not gone unnoticed. In 2013, the Virginia Small Business D Small Business Veteran of the Year. Ms. Redmon was the first woman chosen to receive this prestigious honor. In 2017, the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA) named Staci the Woman Vetrepreneur of the Year. In 2018, SAMS was named the Minority Veteran Business Enterprise of the Year by the National Veteran Owned Business Association (NaVOBA). Deidre Hackman is a Strategic brand & product visionary, Deidre Hackman has led the world’s most iconic brands including Nike, Speedo, Disney, Victoria’s Secret and Spyder/OLYMPIC SKI TEAM. Creating & connecting dynamic global brand growth & new business development strategies through design, product innovation & customer experience. Deidre completed her Bachelor of Science with double major of Organic Chemistry and Clothing & Textiles, then went on to graduate from FIT in NEW York with her Associates in Fashion Design. At the age of 21, she launched her vertical fashion brand, Concrete Clothiers ltd., a manufacturing/retail/wholesale business, with stores operating in Canada. After 15 years in business, NIKE, came calling, and Hackman’s international career was launched. After four years as NIKE Global Design Director, Hackman accepted the role of VP Design & Innovation for Speedo and moved to Los Angeles. Deidre developed the Fast Skyn franchise – which then became known for the suit that Michael Phelps wore during the 2008 Olympics and his record breaking 8 Gold medals. The LZR was recognized by TIME magazine as one of the most important innovations for 2008. Deidre, always considering NEWYORK as home, took on the role at Victoria’s Secret of VP Design, Innovation and Product Development. Here she launched VSX: Victoria Secret Sport a performance, lifestyles and swim brand. Her Mother was diagnosed with Cancer in 2011, so Deidre returned home to Canada to help care for her during her chemo treatments. During these next two years she worked remote on contracts for Disney LuluLemon and other fashion/sport brands. 2013, her mother’s cancer now in remission, fashion called again and saw Deidre moving to Amsterdam to become the Global Director Product & Marketing (Merchandising, Design & Licensing) for MEXX. As the global creative catalyst, leading new product direction and market positioning. She was also instrumental in re-launching both the brand and organization. 2015 saw her moving back to the USA , this time to take on the role of Senior VP Product Merchandising Design, Innovation and Product Development for Spyder Active Sports. Creating a distinctive iconic look for the Olympic Athletes, premium skiwear, repositioning the brand, and developing the global business strategy/process within functional silos. 2018, her mother had passed away, and Hackman returned back to Canada to care for her father. Hackman has continued to help businesses develop and execute strategic positioning and taking on other projects such as costume designer for feature films.

Sarah Dong is a Chinese woman holding a bachelor degree in economy came to Dubai in 2007. By nature, she really enjoys connecting people and creating opportunities. In 2009, she decided to put her passion to CEO Clubs Network as she thinks the business community needs an effective business platform connecting CEOs and Senior Executives for a better growth. After a decade in management and operation, especially members’ activities planning and benefits execution, members enrollments, and members engagements program, she found it is such a privilege of bridging C-suite, assisting members’ business growth, accessing international business practices and learning from many business leaders and doers. Barbara Hutchinson, M.D., Ph.D., FACC/ (Maryland) Speaker
Dr. Hutchinson is a renowned cardiologist and the Owner/Managing Partner of Chesapeake Cardiac Care. She is one of the few doctors in the United States who is Board Certified in both cardiovascular disease and sleep medicine. Dr. Hutchinson is a noted speaker on heart disease in women and how sleep affects heart health. Patients from all over the world seek her out.
Born in Trinidad & Tobago, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry a t the University of the West Indies. Upon graduation, she moved to the United States, and earned a Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Pharmacology from Howard University in Washington D.C. She later earned her M.D. and competed a Fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD.
She is the Past President of the Association of Black Cardiologists. Member of Women Presidents’ Organization Advisory Board, Top Women to watch in Maryland, Daily Record Top 100 Women inducted into the Circle of Excellent 2020, Enterprising Women of the Year Award Winner, Fellow of the American College of Internal Medicine, Appointee to the Cardiovascular Examination Writing Committee for the American Board of Internal Medicine, and a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization Greenbelt, MD Chapter. She serves on several other nonprofits boards and continues to serve in her community in various capacities.

Dr. Gamble-George is the co-founder and the Chief Operations, Scientific, and Medical Officer of SciX, a biotech Internet of Things software applications and device development company searching for data science-based methods to combat brain disorders and other health issues. Her business acumen and advocacy for STEM-based entrepreneurship was honored with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award and as a finalist for the 2019 Lewis A. Shattuck Small Business Advocate of the Year Award by the National Small Business Association. She is also an expert science advisor at the National Institutes of Health for doctors, psychologists, nurses, and other scientists all across the United States that conduct implementation science research on chronic heart and lung diseases and mental health in vulnerable populations, such as people living with HIV. As a scientist, she has studied potential drug therapies for cancer, Alzheimer's disease, and affective disorder pathology and the molecular and synaptic consequences of drug abuse and addiction and HIV-1 infection. As the Director of Program Development and Women Veteran-Owned Small Business Initiative, Ms. Gardner-Ince leads the Department's efforts to develop programs that connect and enable underrepresented target groups with VA, the federal and commercial marketplaces to increase educational, employment and economic opportunities. She is the architect of the Department of VA's inaugural Women Veteran-Owned Small Business (WVOSB) Initiative. The effort is known in the veteran and small business community as" VetBizLady or VetBizLadies."
